One of our wonderful licensed counselors, Karen Capone, LPC, is offering a new service called: Walk and Talk Therapy. Karen wanted to offer new or existing clients a way to get some exercise in while still focusing on mental health. Exercise and therapy go hand in hand as they are a natural combination to battle depression, anxiety, and other concerns. The outdoors provide a calming effect that may offer some clients a variation on traditional therapies.
As the client, you would set the pace for the walk in either a downtown location or local trails where you and Karen will walk and talk to lift your mood.
